This article examines the Jadid movement in Turkestan in the late 19th - early 20th centuries, the main goals and objectives of the Jadids, the activities of the Usul Savtiya schools, education, culture, changes in public life and their impact. in our national language. The article provides a lexical-semantic analysis of the works of Mahmudhoja Behbudi, the leader of the Jadid movement in Turkestan, and a statistical study of his works. Opinions were expressed about the language and style of the drama “Padarkush”.
